The past month has been strange in the castle. So many of her friends had changed, and not all of them were happy because of their changes. She had spent as much time as she could trying to bring a smile to everyone's faces, or to hold close anyone who needed a hug, and she had made sure to visit everyone every day.
(More or less--with her memory the way it is, sometimes she missed one day or saw someone three or four or five times.)
Today, something feels different in the castle. She still goes to check up on her friends, but...everything is going to be all right now. Even if, with some people, it might take them a little while and a little love to know it.
[OOC: Please pretend I was tagging around a lot with Grune, especially on posts for the people who had a rough October. I, unfortunately, was one of those people who didn't have such a great time last month, so my energy for RPing was...kinda through the floor. Here's hoping November is better.]

Date: 2016-11-15 11:58 am (UTC)Even with all the dead trees still around, the sinking sun's nice, the flowers're nice...
...and that makes it worse that they don't actually feel any better, being there.

Date: 2017-02-02 12:57 am (UTC)Shirley turns another page. She isn't sure how long she has been in the library, she just knows that it is peaceful here. At first she had thought she might find something in the books here that would tell her about this place but she soon found herself absorbed in the stories instead. Her head is stuffy now and she closes the large volume with some difficulty.
There's a knot in her back as she stands, oh she really has been here for too long. The cloudiness in her mind seems to clear as she makes her way to the library entrance. She'll come back here later, after she's made some more progress.
Still, she cannot help but tense when she hears footsteps. She stands up straight and walks out into the hall with a deep breath -
It ends up catching.
"G-Grune?
OH MY GOD DID I FORGET TO REPLY TO YOUR INTRO accurate character choice is accurate sob

Date: 2017-02-16 04:05 am (UTC)Still... it would be more of comfort to know what exactly was going on. At least Grune's relaxed manner reassured Shirley this wasn't an impostor. She couldn't imagine anyone skilled enough to replicate her aura. Appearance, of course was possible - but there was something distinctly well, G-Girl-ish as Norma would put it, to her friend.
"Oh, Grune, I'm so glad to see you! I was so confused when I woke up in the lake here and if it weren't for Sorey-"
Come to think of it, how had Grune fared on her own? Were the other perhaps here too, Shirley wondered. Her heart fluttered with the same hope seeing Grune had birthed in her.
"I'm so sorry for rambling. Are you alright, Grune? We must have all gotten separated somehow... but I'm sure Senel and the others can take care of themselves. If you're hurt make sure to let me know so I can heal you!"
Hi my brain is shit.:|
