[Rose wakes up in the graveyard. She guesses this isn't the worst place she could be.
This looks like another vision, another flashback, another memory that both wasn't hers and was hers. She'll probably wake up again some time soon or stop staring at the wall. This keeps happening, ever since she talkedtokilledstolefrom Pearl. God, reincarnating alongside someone else is confusing.
Except as she watches, nothing happens. The clouds in the sky roll by and Rose is still laying there, which is odd. Is this one taking in the scenery and resting? Maybe. But that isn't like herself. Or maybe it's not another memory, but then what could it be? Time travel? Rose can't do that anymore. Her suspicion rising, she tries to move.
She does. But then she isn't always sure if movements are her own or the Memory Rose's, so she tries to think of something that a Rose in the past would never do.
She flips the bird at the sky. And there it is, her finger triumphant in the air, standing boldly against the sun.
So it is real.]

[The first thing Rose does is explore the rest of this holy shit I'm on a floating island rather than enter the very clearly looming castle right away. She skirts the edge, plays with the possibility of death a little, breathes in the cold mist from the swirling clouds far off from the Edge.
And oh, she finds the forest. Full of deciduous and pine. This is a very familiar sight to her, and she is inclined to explore. So she does--explores this forest and mysterious charred swathes that have since been grown over again, between cobwebs and shadows. With a long black coat that drifts like a cloak around her feet, and a red dress just as long and red red hair on her shoulders, it's easy to mistake this stranger in the forest for a ghost. Thankfully, that's not the case. Or is it? Probably not.]

[Rose, of course, eventually finds herself inside the castle. Where else is she supposed to go?
And she finds this huge empty ballroom with desserts just sitting there, none of which she's quite willing to touch because they look impeccable and the castle looks ancient and dusty. And this is an enormous stone room which must have marvelous acoustics. And because she thinks she is alone, she starts singing.]

"Okay." Doesn't answer her question as to why she's here, but apparently there was no answer in the first place. That's nice.
And now that she's talking to someone who isn't the same three people she's always known, and there's nothing she wants from this person--robot? Monster? --she has no idea how to make a conversation with him. Out of all things, Rose didn't think she'd forget how to talk to people like a normal person. (As if she ever did.)
It takes her a few moments before she remembers that she can just ask stuff. "So, um... what do you mean by monster? You don't look very monstrous."
