[Rose wakes up in the graveyard. She guesses this isn't the worst place she could be.
This looks like another vision, another flashback, another memory that both wasn't hers and was hers. She'll probably wake up again some time soon or stop staring at the wall. This keeps happening, ever since she talkedtokilledstolefrom Pearl. God, reincarnating alongside someone else is confusing.
Except as she watches, nothing happens. The clouds in the sky roll by and Rose is still laying there, which is odd. Is this one taking in the scenery and resting? Maybe. But that isn't like herself. Or maybe it's not another memory, but then what could it be? Time travel? Rose can't do that anymore. Her suspicion rising, she tries to move.
She does. But then she isn't always sure if movements are her own or the Memory Rose's, so she tries to think of something that a Rose in the past would never do.
She flips the bird at the sky. And there it is, her finger triumphant in the air, standing boldly against the sun.
So it is real.]

[The first thing Rose does is explore the rest of this holy shit I'm on a floating island rather than enter the very clearly looming castle right away. She skirts the edge, plays with the possibility of death a little, breathes in the cold mist from the swirling clouds far off from the Edge.
And oh, she finds the forest. Full of deciduous and pine. This is a very familiar sight to her, and she is inclined to explore. So she does--explores this forest and mysterious charred swathes that have since been grown over again, between cobwebs and shadows. With a long black coat that drifts like a cloak around her feet, and a red dress just as long and red red hair on her shoulders, it's easy to mistake this stranger in the forest for a ghost. Thankfully, that's not the case. Or is it? Probably not.]

[Rose, of course, eventually finds herself inside the castle. Where else is she supposed to go?
And she finds this huge empty ballroom with desserts just sitting there, none of which she's quite willing to touch because they look impeccable and the castle looks ancient and dusty. And this is an enormous stone room which must have marvelous acoustics. And because she thinks she is alone, she starts singing.]

[Or, perhaps, in her wandering, she has found someplace else. Someone else.]

Date: 2018-07-22 04:44 am (UTC)...She does look like it, though. The clouds creep through most of the castle, and that includes the forest; when they see her, it truly is like she just decided to reveal herself instead of stepping through the fog.
They're taken off-guard enough by her appearance (both from the surprise and from the red) they don't do anything but stare from their current fallen-log seat.

Date: 2018-07-23 05:11 pm (UTC)Rose pauses. No, this is not one of them.
She restarts. "Oh, hello. Are you… from here? I think I'm lost."
i did not realize how long i left this hanging rifp me
Date: 2018-10-01 10:24 am (UTC)Their self-appointed task of 'telling people the rules' is enough to shift them out of their surprise, though, as well as out of their seat. It takes a couple of tries until they manage to stand. They pretend there's nothing wrong with that.
"...Sort of. Live here. Everybody came from somewhere else, though. Everybody's lost, and stuck." Frisk dips their head. "Sorry."
lmao no problem!!
Date: 2018-10-02 12:48 am (UTC)Oh. No, it's... okay. Home wasn't very nice anyway.
[And those teeth--those were startling, but only a flash, so she's still not sure if this child really has fangs yet. She decides not to ask. But if those were fangs, is "everyone" here so strange? Rose is by no means normal, and it seems neither is this child(?), so strangeness may be a prerequisite. What kind of things might come from so many wild cards in one place, she's not sure. Is it even many, or is it just a few other people?
She bends down, taking a seat in front of them with her legs folded in at her side so she's not towering over them. She seems very at home in the moss and grass.]
Guess I'll be here for a while... my name is Rose. Rose Red. What is this place?

Date: 2018-10-10 09:10 pm (UTC)So all they do is blink and nod in quiet acknowledgement. Maybe this place'll be better.
"'M Frisk. You a princess?" Rose Red sounds like that kind of person's name. "It's a castle in the sky. And a timeline hub. Lots of people from different worlds and stuff. Most people're nice, even the monsters. Especially the monsters. Jus' so you know."

Date: 2018-10-11 03:41 am (UTC)Rose laughs a little, the first time she's smiled in ages. "No I'm not, but it sounds like it, doesn't it? Rose Red. I come from far away, living by the sea." She shakes her head. "No, I'm not," she repeats. No, she's not.
"But I suppose I could be if I'm going to be living in a... castle." God, this is all so weird. "What kind of monsters? There's a lot."
