A boy walks through a door, and out another.
A boy clutches at the arms of a familiar figure, and ends up with a handful of scrap.
A boy looks desperately into a churning, violent sea.
A boy looks up at the stars.
The lighthouse has spit him out somewhere new again.
It's a clear, brilliant night on the island. Enu can see the castle towering above him, but he knows he'll need to look for a key to open the door, so he wastes no time setting out to look for one.
Well...maybe a little time. He passes through a garden; marvels for a bit at a massive fountain; stops for a minute to kneel next to a pond full of fish. It's only after ten minutes of walking around that he realizes his guide should have appeared to show him where to go already. Maybe he should try climbing something! That usually gets him in the right direction.
If someone was to come along, they should probably tell the scrawny boy in the tunic not to scale so high on the castle's outer walls.
Oops! Almost slipped.

Date: 2018-07-01 04:04 am (UTC)It's not every day they see somebody trying to climb on the outside--they'd tried for fun once upon a time, but it got old and kept cutting their hands too much, so Frisk sticks to trees nowadays.
They're probably invisible from the ground, and their voice probably wouldn't carry that high anyway. Instead, they just stand in the shadows of the trees and watch.

Date: 2018-07-01 08:06 am (UTC)He picks his way back down skillfully. And by "skillfully" he means he kind of half slides, half falls, only to catch a hand-hold at the last second and repeat the process all over again.
He's a little sweaty and tired at the end, but that's okay. He's just going to pick a direction and go with it. He's doing just that, in fact, when he catches sight of Frisk in the shade. Which startles him so much he actually yelps and stumbles back.
Excellent first impression.

Date: 2018-07-03 08:00 am (UTC)--Though their concern is immediately washed away when the landing is fine and the kid jumps in surprise. They put their hand over their face to muffle a tiny giggle.
"Hi," they greet simply. "New?"

Date: 2018-07-04 06:54 am (UTC)"Uh...no? I mean. Yes?" He glances around. For Enu, there's no reason to think he still isn't on his island, where he hasn't seen any other living thing aside from hungry boars and playful foxes and giant birds that try to eat him. And other things. But he doesn't think they really count as 'alive'.
He's only come across one other person on his island, and it's with this thought that he turns back to the child before him, eyes widening. "Do you live here?"

Date: 2018-07-14 11:07 am (UTC)Frisk translates the answer: has been here for a while, but hasn't found anybody to explain stuff yet.
"Yeah. Bunch of people do. Monsters." Get that out of the way immediately, as always. Their voice is particularly scratchy right now, and they aren't sure when it might give out. "Don't...fight. Don't worry 'bout them. They're nice. And I'm Frisk."

Date: 2018-07-18 08:50 am (UTC)"I'm Enu!" He holds out a hand for them to shake, grinning. "Don't worry, I won't fight nobody. Especially if they're as nice as you." He squints thoughtfully. "I fought a giant bird once, but that's only because it was trying to kill me a lot."
Never. Again.

Date: 2018-07-20 12:56 am (UTC)"Thanks!" For agreeing and the compliment! "Not a lot of monsters t' kill you here. ..There's a giant pink diamond, though, stay away from her, she might."
There. Warnings delivered. Now, onto other nice host things ('cause, as far as they know, nobody else really explains a lot around here):
"D'you have a room yet?"
