It seems strange to think of them "not being done" talking, when Chara's already told Frisk so much- more than they talked to anyone else, after they'd been revived. But then Frisk mentions EXP, and it seems as though this is yet another attempt at stopping them from killing anyone. So even with everything Chara had said, Frisk... still doesn't seem to understand.
"Rest assured," Chara says, "As long as I'm in here, I can't kill any of your precious friends. Now. Go away."
They pointedly look away from the door, even though Frisk probably can't see the gesture.
