Lucas waits patiently enough, as Chara takes a drawn moment to make their assessment of both himself and his orange basket, expression as neutrally mild as his earlier words had been. 'Greetings'...what a formal sort of thing to say. But he nods a bit in response to it, anyway, and then lowers his basket when the kid declines an orange lunch at length.
He'd supposed maybe one gets quite hungry after dying. But he wouldn't know, either. He hadn't really thought to ask Frisk--but dying probably does odd things to one's appetite anyway, really.
Slowly, he slips the handle of the basket over a forearm. Who is he? Right... "I'm Lucas." And then Lucas pauses for a moment, taking his turn to appraise Chara a bit in turn. Any opinion he might be forming from this is difficult to pick out on his face...but-- "And...you're Chara, right?" He's almost certain. Who else could it be, really? Striped shirt, and about the same age as Frisk, looks like...
