...And then they fall silent, chewing on their lip and staring intently at some point over the other child's shoulder. After a bit their gaze drifts back to the other child's face.
"...Right, I still haven't told you why I killed so many people," they say. "I have to admit, it surprises me that you don't seem to have an idea. Didn't we kill anyone in your timeline? That was the whole point of resurrecting me in the first place."
