Information in return for information. That makes sense, and Chara opens their mouth to respond- then clamps it shut as they realize they're not entirely sure how to answer the other child's questions.
Why did they kill everyone, or try to?
As far as Chara recalls it's only been a few days at most since they first woke up in the other child's body, but it seems more like a lifetime. Still, they remember being confused at first, passively riding alongside the other child... until that child had started to retreat and suddenly the only person there to hold the knife was Chara...
But the name thing they don't really understand at all, and the other child will actually see Chara's brow furrow as they try and figure it out. "I don't know," they admit. "Who told you that you weren't supposed to say my name?"
