They feel Tauriel's grip constrict around their wrist and gasp, in surprise and more than a little bit of outrage. Instinctively they try and yank their wrist free but it quickly occurs to them that it won't work- and she grabbed their knife hand too!- so with their free hand they'll try and claw at Tauriel's face.
