Adam leads him along, whether he struggles or not, down a few long
hallways, to a dim, ignored corner of the castle. There’s a door that opens
into a dusty room, and a trapdoor in the floor that opens to reveal a long,
spiraling staircase.
As Adam leads Mettaton down that, he may hear the sound of another human
breathing, thick with pain. It’s definitely not Adam, whoever it is.
But as they reach the dungeon that is at the end of the staircase, he’ll
see someone who looks much like Adam chained to a wall.
