They probably can't get away with not touching them for a while. That's what gifts are for, not just to...look pretty. Only, the crayons can be used up--and it doesn't occur to them to draw on the other drawings, even if it's on the other side. That would be ruining them.
A music book is lifted, but Frisk doesn't open it. Watching them read would be boring, huh?
