castle_perraultAll the new children have gone away now. It was nice to get to know them for a little while. She hopes they've all gone to happy homes, or will find happy homes soon after they get back.
It seems very quiet in the castle now. The singers have gone away, too, and so have the people she could hear but never did quite manage to meet.
Still, all that means is she needs to sing to fill up the silence.
And so she la-las her way through a happy little tune as she heads to the kitchen. Even if the new children have left, lots of her other friends have come back. It's time to make them a nice pot of soup and welcome back cookies!
