Well, the windows in a certain radius are all smashed. Mostly, though, Chara doesn't want to admit they've worn themself out.
"I am not given to freely dispensing information." This is somewhat of a lie - they can get carried away and exposit - but it's another yes, another roundabout way of saying they won't tell.
The other Frisk agrees and that... surprises them a little. It also... it feels like there's a goal, now, and determination loves a goal to hook into. Someone else in alignment makes it feel better somehow. They sit up a little, mind whirring, and they can feel their Frisk contemplating it too. It was a hypothetical, but now they think of it...
"If it is something in the Castle, it is possible something at the least can be done. Even though this place is small, it could be actively shifting rooms to protect it."
Which might explain why no such thing has been found - the other explanation is, of course, that no such thing exists. But Chara loves control, and power, and doing things.
