He berates himself for the gasp, and the way it makes Yukio recoil and flinch. He does his best to stay neutral and calm and smooth, control his breathing and his expression to be one of mild concern. He needs to be calm and totally in control, for this kid's sake.
He doesn't like the 'anymore', and he can't quite prevent the protective anger that slips into his voice. Oops. "But you were hurt. What hurt you? I will not allow that to happen again."
