They messed up, didn't they? The other Frisk is hard to read (is this what it's like to talk to them?) but... the way they pull their hands in isn't good, they don't think. There's the thought that next time they die, if that happens... but Chara hasn't saved here yet. Maybe they aren't able to. Maybe it's connected to whatever stopped the other Frisk from SAVEing the other way.
Maybe you should start explaining what you mean by 'SAVE.' Later, later! This is more important.

It's awkward to apologize, when the other Frisk just brushes it off, and they're not entirely sure what they're apologizing for, but they still duck Chara's head, mouth thinning.
"Sorry. ...I'm not worried."
Well, they are now a little bit, but for different reasons.
