Well. This is happening now. Take your lumps, Chara. They smile, arms folded behind their back. Look guy, no weapon! They are just a cute, nonthreatening child. They'd feel better about this tactic if it wasn't one they've taken to using to unsettle or garner underestimation, but it's the closest they can get to showing lack of intent to harm.
"Indeed. As are you, I see." The words are stiff, formal, as if read off a script. And then there's a flash of a lost look as they reach the end of any dialogue they could just pull out, and fall silent as they scour their brain for anything useful.
