Scrapier, huh. He'd answer, much less ask, but apparently Frisk already takes off... somehow. Sans pushes the door open just enough to see where they went, but they're already gone.
It's easy enough to put together that he probably wasn't the only one who changed.
So the door closes, and he waits patiently for Frisk to come back.
