Barnaby's expression, on the other hand, is a little sadder. It's... still sinking in that he's lost all his family. His caretaker was killed just a few weeks ago. And Maverick has lost all right to be called anything like a father.
Still, he wants to be happy for them. He smiles gently at them, glad they at least were able to find a family.
