Because I did not gain any EXP from you, that may mean the nature of this place prevents me from amassing more. If this is the case, that would render murdering anyone here pointless. Or at least, going out of my way to do so."
And it would leave them trapped at level nineteen, still without the power necessary to complete their ultimate goal. Trapped at level nineteen, trapped in a tower, trapped in a castle, trapped in the underground, trapped in the village of their birth... It's a bitter pattern.
