"It's just... confusing. I've never been asked what I want. I didn't even know about friends until I came here. And now I think I want more of them, but I probably don't know enough about what friends are."

Much like he doesn't know what parents are, or why there are so many different types of food, or why humans are nice when he was told they were dangerous. It's so much to take in.

But at least Sans is here with him. Sans will help him with all the hard words, and all the hard parts of life. That's just what a brother does, and S-4 can feel the tension leave him a bit as Sans settles back.

"Okay..."

Unfortunately, that wince distracts him before he can open up the book, and he immediately sets it back down, moving closer to Sans' side.

"Sans? What's wrong?"
