Sparks skids to a halt, just barely bumping the end of it with his nose. He takes a few steps back and growls at them through the tinsel in his mouth.

"Sparks, stop running! You!" The tiny child stops to point up at spear and their face, red eyes glittering in anger. "'M okay! But don't hit him!"
