Toshi is spoiled to have such a kind, understanding friend. He appreciates the efforts to be comforting. He also appreciates the flirting, really. It's a breath of fresh air after all the drama and anguish, and it... well, it's an ego boost if he's being honest. Not that he's deluded enough to think Ryoji is actually interested in him. That would be silly. Flirting is just fun.
