It sounds like a very, very short version. Kotetsu can tell that Toshi is probably leaving a lot out. And yet, even this much is almost too much for him to deal with. He tries, though. Zeroes in on what details he can pick out of the general morass of strangeness.

"My...friend?" Here he finds himself laughing a little. "Well, a friendly robot would definitely make for a nice change of pace. And...Toshi. Hah." He thinks he gets the joke now. "I guess things would have gotten pretty confusing in a hurry otherwise. Good name."

He settles a little bit more, at least enough to be able to stand up straight and stow one hand safely in his pocket. He waves the other idly as he talks, as though to tease details and facts and sense out of thin air.

"'Brooks Artificial Intelligence'...wait a second, did Bunny put you together?" As some kind of bizarre joke, maybe? Of course, he knows that Barnaby's parents were responsible for a great many advances in robotics. But he's sure it would have been discovered if they'd gotten quite this far. Maybe it happens in his future. He knows that he and Barnaby aren't quite from the same time, here.
