As Barnaby struggles, Croc tightens his grip like a scaly, homicidal vise; he's trying to suffocate Barnaby. Fast he may be, but it's difficult to run away while unconscious. Croc recognizes the glow-and-strength thing from Kotetsu, earlier.

This one, he decides, won't get away. He'll eat him alive. Start with the legs, draw it out. Make it so he can't scurry off, either.

Unfortunately, his opponent succeeds in wrenching himself from Croc's grip, lands a hit-- he still hits like a freight train. Croc collapses, and swipes out with his claws at Barnaby's ankles.
