He stops in front of her, his own grin bright and enthusiastic. The cat causes him to raise an eyebrow, but he doesn't say anything about it as of yet.

"Oh, no, of course not! There's a lot of us here, and I guess you've been the latest one to join us... uh, sorry, this is probably confusing."

He spreads his arms out.
