S-4 isn't listening. He's completely lost in the storm of emotions and terror he's experiencing. He feels like his ribcage might snap, his soul might shatter at any minute. He's so lost, he doesn't know what to do. What can he do for his brother, if he can't heal him?

How hopeless is he?

He turns his head with Sans-Serif's prompting, but he's still breathing in harsh, shaking gasps, and his vision is clouded over with anxiety and grief. He abandoned Sans, he left him writhing in pain, and he won't be able to fix it. He'll lose his brother for ever, and then who's to say he won't lose Sans-Serif? Who's to say he hasn't lost him already? He can't do anything, he should just give up-

Sans-Serif finally yells for him, rattling S-4 out of his panic just enough to see him clearly. He blinks a few times, stares at him for a long moment, registering that this is indeed his brother, that he's okay right now, that they might be okay...

His vision blurs again, but this time, it's with more tears, as he suddenly flings his arms around Sans-Serif, clinging onto him like he's frightened he may disappear.
