Waylon roars in surprise. It's loud enough to make the air seem to shake and swim. He quiets down quickly enough after that; he's used to being scary. Not used to being unable to control it. He's strong enough to bat her claws away, his scales tough enough they do little more than spark and slide off. "Hey, hey! Settle on down there, kitty cat!"
