[Even though Chara only knows a few words of BSL, and their Frisk only knows Hands, and the other Chara is using ASL, and I don't know what the other Frisk is, lets just assume that whatever multiversal translator property the Castle has makes them mutually intelligible for the sake of avoiding a headache.
Although it is odd to understand different motions suddenly. Lip movements most don't pay attention to.
